Seems like UploadVR did a great job of fueling my hypertension by releasing this list, lol:

I couldn't disagree much more - there's simply not a single game on their list I would want on my drives. But it's of course a free world, not all like chocolate cake...

Do feel free to add your best titles this year in a post!
PS. Maybe time for a small (prolonged drum-roll) BONUS TEST - if you cannot name the game associated to each of the 4 screenshots below - and don't spend more than 10 seconds on each screenshot - then it means you have not experienced some of the greatest VR experiences ever made. Seriously. I'll go easy for the start 😇
Maybe I need to find a price for this competition? 🤔 🤗 - But I'm sure you all got the 4 names right in less than 15 seconds, right?

An educational free app that I considered including is Baalbek Reborn: Temples
- but you need to have some interest in history and in expanding your knowledge to find this app interesting.
It's available here:

Steam - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1370800/Baalbek_Reborn_Temples/
Another great and highly recommended educational free app would be Pollinator Park:

I just updated the list in the first post with two of the best VR games launched this year (either in finalized version or in early access), namely Furious Seas and EverSlaught.
Note that both games are for high-end VR enthusiasts, because both games need very powerful gpus - but perfect for owners of GTX 1080Ti/2080 (desktop models, not the much slower laptop models) and similar AMD gpus.

Just added Blair Witch to the list, seems 2021 is indeed getting better and better when it comes to awesome high-end VR experiences! And I have a feeling the best is yet to come...

I just added Dark Threads to the list - it's a truly awesome experience, there's no doubt in my mind it needs to be on the list.

Why you don't mention Assassin’s Creed VR?
Not much is known about Ubisoft’s first full Assassin’s Creed game for VR headsets. Even the lone teaser image for the game manages to feature every protagonist from the series, making us question if we’ll be revisiting each hero for new adventures or perhaps establishing a brand new world. Whatever it ends up being, this is one of the biggest and most important VR games on the horizon.

Try to read my first post again. This thread is for currently available games and apps - games and apps you can buy and play today. It's not a thread for upcoming games. Or most wanted games etc. Thus Assassin's Creed VR has no relevance in this thread before it has launched.
But do feel free to mention games or apps you find amazing, which have launched in 2021 and you can purchase today.

Completely agree. The PCVR software ecosystem has been severely lacking in great titles, with HL:Alyx and Asgard's Wrath being the last 2 great new PCVR titles.
Assassin's Creed VR is likely going to make huge waves in the VR landscape, and will likely look like quite the giant compared to the smaller games that have been released in 2021.
With the exception of Myst, there hasn't been anything released recently worth too much investment, unfortunately.

I just updated the above list with Lone Echo 2, Song in the Smoke, BRINK Traveler, Detective VR and Eye of the Temple
Seems this year now is turning out to be the best year ever for PCVR. Simply awesome!
Apart from Naau (7/10), I've only included games and apps I've personally tested, and which I would rate 9/10 or better.
