Still nothing? No communication at all?! Please give us back version 81 while we fix the issue with versions 83/85!

Is anyone else having trouble logging into their Quest Link account? I cannot start the app on my PC even though I am using the correct password. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and reset my password, but nothing resolved the issue.

I also have the Windows security update KB5074109 installed. My suspicion is that this update may be causing a compatibility or authentication problem with Quest Link. Has anyone run into this or found a workaround? This is not just a performance issue—the app does not work at all.

Following the latest v83 update, I'm experiencing significant performance drops and it's no longer playable. I had no problems before.

brian111r v83 has been out for a long time, so nothing has changed over the past couple of months. It's not likely that v83 caused a sudden significant drop as it's a stable version. In fact v83 is reaching its end and has already begun to be replaced by the official v85 update, which arrived on my headset yesterday evening.

I'm having the same issue. Any ETA on a fix?

Going on a week now, need an update and fix on this ASAP.  It's ridiculous that we can't just roll back the software.

Is this the same issue I reported back in the v81.1034 circa end of oct 2025 ? with usb3 being reported as usb2 ? That I was told they had also managed to now repeat - yet my entire thread seems to have been deleted now ? and its still not fixed.  Why is it taking so long to fix the issue ? my quest 3 has been an ornament sitting on my desk for months now. I only bought it to play pc vr apps.  manny.prerelease68. How can it be you've done 2 major releases v83 and v85 yet the devs have not fixed a fundemental issue introduced back in v81. I question whether you guys ever learn. Your testing process is clearly fundementally flawed. Had same issue over a year ago when you broke connectivity for pc vr apps. I am going to go find an alternative headset. This is soo unbelievably poor from a major company.

The lack of updates from the devs on this really cement what a rubbish product this is, i've an expensive paperweight at this point.  Being someone that invested in Meta a second time with a Quest 3, after a Rift S, I really expected more - I hadn't had issues to this magnitude in the past, this is definitely a new level of poor customer experience and service.

After the v85.0.0.223.552 update today, I was able to reinstall Windows Security Update KB5074109 without any loss of performance in AirLink. It's working happily at the default 200 Mbps setting. Thanks 🙂.

My quest 2, even after full wipe and reset won't boot unless I connect to pc first.

Like many others, my Meta Horizon Link has been running slowly for the past few days, subsequent to the forced update that caused the problem.  The upside was that, for the first time ever, the handset haptics worked when I was playing First Person Tennis on my Quest Pro.

Unfortunately, although today's new Link update has corrected the speed issue, the haptics have gone once again. They work fine in other games, just not in First Person Tennis. Can anyone at Meta explain this and can it be sorted somehow?
