Hogwarts Legacy IN VR

Yes, that's right.  It looks like someone created a mod for the Steam game and from what I can see it's pretty good.  Looks like it needs a high end PC of course.

A bit gutting that I bought it on XBox already - it would require another buy, then joining this guy's patreon.

If anybody tries it, let us know how it goes.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll have to buy this - it's something I've wanted for many years and I know it will be great to let others have a go - just wandering around Hogwarts will be fantastic, I'm not too bothered about the game.

  • This is great for Harry Potter fans.. I'm not but I could be if this works well !

He's using an RTX 3070/5900HX and getting 45 fps so as he says, probably not good enough to play the whole game without getting uncomfortable but things may improve.

I can't play FPSs on monitor now, only VR will do, which has ruined some games I used to love. VR mods are appearing for some though, I've got HL2 VR but haven't tried it yet.

Combat flight sim needs VR but commercial/private light aircraft flight is fine for me, things like the Honeycomb kit adds realism and you generally spend more time looking at your panel and a static forward window, a big monitor helps though.

I'd just really like Fallout 3, Vegas and Bioshock VR mods... and please future fps's need VR!! It seems Hogwarts is using UE4, not sure if UE5 makes VR any more likely.

  • Here is an article about Hogwarts Legacy VR with C-Infinity Integration, and in the text there are two videos, one is the recorded gameplay, and the other video tutorial for C-Infinity setup.
