Live AI

I have registered for the early access program for the live AI feature. I also received a notification in the app that tells me to take one more step to start using this feature and when I tap the notification it takes me to the settings but there is no button or slider or anything to enable live AI.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or can tell me where to activate the early access feature? Or did it already drown in the new updates since the freature is ready for late access or general access within the next few months?

  • I have no clue what you are talking about, but I know in the headset there is a setting to toggle if you want to be included in beta stuff.   maybe that is your solution? I dont know just the 1st thing that came to mind

      I am talking about the Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses. Can you tell me where to find that beta stuff setting in the Meta AI app?

  • I am enrolled in Early Access as well with 19.1 and Live AI is NOT on my glasses.. See my recent post in the forum. Been battling this since June 25.  Reset, unpaired, hell replaced the glasses twice still NO LIVE AI- from Texas

      so the Live AI feature stays mysterious... I thought that feature might be restricted to US only but since you are located in Texas... I'd be interested if someone with the Gen 2 glasses (without display) has access to the feature. 

      Has anyone with Gen 2 or display glasses access to Live AI? 

      I am looking forward to hearing the experiences for all users ;)

      I had live AI on gen 1 for early access but all of a sudden it stopped working. About a  month ago it started working again and an hour later it wasn't working again.  I'm in the DFW area.

  • I have the Gen 2, but Im not in the US. I do not have the Live AI

  • I have the Display glasses. I'm in the US. When I unboxed it on Sunday October 12, Conversational AI was available for request in the settings menu. When I checked again on Monday October 13, the option was gone.

  • two gen 2 pairs and in texas the Live AI does not work. Support had me doing all the trouble shooting and after 100's of e-mails, someone on whatsapp support said, it's not released to TX and to return the glasses. Returning the glasses is a whole different nightmare 

  • I'm in the DFW area and have early access enable. My MRB Gen 2's are running 20.0 and MRB Displays are running 18.1. Both pair of glasses say, "Live AI is not available on your glasses".

      Thanks for the followup. I am now on 20 with my Gen1's in Houston TX and no LIVE AI. I was going to buy the Display version but it looks like those won't have LIVE AI either.  I am beginning to believe it really is a Texas thing were no LIVE AI works.  I specifically want the Displays' for the Live Caption feature but am afraid it won't work due to no Live AI in Texas. Can you confirm?

      We've just seen your comment about not having the Live AI feature of your Meta Ray-Ban (Gen 2) glasses and Meta Ray-Ban Display not being available to you. Please be advised that we observe privacy rules for the user. In areas where AI is not allowed on faces, Live AI commands are stopped from executing.

       

      We really appreciate your understanding regarding this.
