    Hi ChrisLGBTQ,

Congratulations on purchasing your new Meta Ray-Ban Displays, we hope you are enjoying your experience so far! If you double tap your middle finger on your thumb it will wake or sleep your glasses, this feature has been provided to save battery when glasses are not in use. If you find you are having any other issues with your Meta Ray-Ban Displays please just let us know and we will be happy to help, we are here to support you 24/7.

  • So sometimes when I'm wearing my display smart glasses and listening to music, it will pause it on its own and almost disconnect from my phone. And then when I go to double tap to wake the glasses it'll reconnect and then I can start playing the music again but it will do it again. The only way I can fix it is unpairing them and repairing them back to my phone. What can I do to fix this? I'm asking for your help now

Are you sure that you are not accidentally pausing your playback by touching the temple or double tapping your middle finger?

What do you mean by "almost disconnected"? I don't get that...

The chirping might be indeed the "Bluetooth reconnect signal". That happens to me when I am listening to music and then open Instagram. The music stops and the Instagramsounds from the reels are starting.

Maybe you could have too many Bluetooth devices connected to your phone. When mine is paired with watch and glasses and car, my phone sometimes disconnects randomly one... But that's my phone not the glasses...

Hope I was able to help;)

P.S.: maybe check the app for energy saving options and disable them?

I’m experiencing this exact issue. I can confirm the chime I hear when they come back online is not the Bluetooth chime, rather the power on chime.

    Did you ever resolve this?

      Hi xbsgs,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! We understand that unexpected pauses in your music can disrupt the overall experience, and we're here to offer assistance. In this case, we recommend disabling the auto pause feature in the app to prevent the glasses from disconnecting after a period of inactivity. The instructions on how to do this are below:

      Disable Auto-Pause Feature

Open the Meta AI app on your phone.

      Go to Settings

Look for Auto Pause Media and toggle it off.

This prevents the glasses from pausing music when they detect inactivity or are removed.

We truly hope this helps! If you ever find yourself struggling with the same issues, please know that you're always welcome to reach out. We're here to help!
