Something went wrong.

I have a Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses, but I can’t use the live translate feature.

When I try to use the feature on the glasses, it opens the Meta AI app and then shows a “Something went wrong – cannot download language pack” message.

How can I fix this so I can use the live translate feature?

    Go to the Meta AI-App and set the languages you want to live translate from and into. 

    After that you should be able to start live translation by asking Meta for it.

    Hi, I have the exact same problem with Meta Ray-Ban Display: the Meta AI app on my iPhone fails at the "Get started with Meta AI" screen with the error "Something went wrong. Please wait and try again later". Both "Get started" and "Set up a device" fail. iOS 26.3.1, App Store region US, Meta AI 296.1.0 (also 296.0.0), clean reinstall and VPN to Netherlands did not help, while logging in on meta.com works fine.
