I developed a "kiosk" mode solution
So, I wanted to be able to keep my app always running on my Quests.
I created my own solution for that, and it is working nicely for me. The user still can open the Oculus menu, but he can't really leave (if he does, the app reloads immediately). In effect, he is locked to the app, until I unlock it.
I also made a desktop/notebook application which can control multiple headsets and stream video from them while they are playing. It can be used to manage a multiplayer shop for example, start and end games, set a timer, register players etc.
It is being hugely useful to the product I am developing as an indie.
Now I am wondering if there would be enough interest from other individuals/companies to buy my solution for much lower price than the few others I found.
I am thinking about single payment licensing.

That has nothing to do with ransomware. That is for some specific use cases.
One use case is for when you have a company and a few headsets which must run a specific application for training, for example. You don't want users to be messing with the configuration screens, or playing other games instead of the intended application.
In that case, you want centralized control of the headsets. This kind of control program is called "Mobile Device Management" (MDM).
With the MDM, you can make all the headsets automatically start your intended application, and keep the users within that application. You can also send commands to the application, like open this or that scene, etc. You can also monitor what the users are doing, by immediately seeing their screens when you want to.
It is for proprietary, controlled applications inside a company, not to be downloaded and installed on random headsets from the store.
