Asgard's Wrath 2: Multiplayer PvP Arena, Ranked Battles, Tournaments & Co-op Campaign

I'm a big fan of Asgard's Wrath 2, and I wanted to share an idea that I believe could take this already incredible VR game to another level: competitive multiplayer and cooperative gameplay!

I know other players have expressed interest in multiplayer, but I'd love to see an actual PvP arena where we can challenge other real players.

Here's what I'm envisioning:

1. One-on-One (1v1) Arena Battles

Two real players enter the arena and compete against each other using the game's combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities. Players could challenge friends or be matched against opponents of similar skill levels.

2. Two-on-Two (2v2) Team Battles

Two players team up against another pair. Imagine coordinating attacks, defending teammates, and developing strategies to defeat the opposing team.

3. Last Warrior Standing – Tournament Mode

This is one of the features I'd be most excited about!

Imagine 8, 16, or even more players entering a tournament. Players compete in elimination rounds until only one champion remains.

Players who are eliminated could stay and watch the remaining battles as spectators. Imagine watching the final championship fight in VR!

4. Everyone Starts at Zero – Fair Competition

Regardless of campaign progress, every player starts at Rank 0 in the multiplayer arena.

  • Earn ranking points through victories.

  • Match players based on arena performance.

  • Separate leaderboards for 1v1, 2v2, and tournaments.

  • Seasonal championships with ranking resets.

  • Balanced weapons and abilities so skill and strategy determine the winner, not campaign progress.

5. Private Arena Battles

Allow players to invite friends into private arenas to practice, challenge one another, or organize friendly tournaments without affecting their rankings.

6. Cooperative Campaign – A Future Possibility

Another feature I'd love to see is the ability for two to four players to experience the campaign together.

Imagine exploring the world, completing quests, solving puzzles, and defeating powerful bosses alongside friends.

I realize this would require significant development, so perhaps it could be considered for a future installment such as Asgard's Wrath 3.

My Suggestion to Meta

Start with a simple 1v1 multiplayer arena and expand from there if players enjoy it.

Asgard's Wrath 2 already has fantastic combat, characters, weapons, and environments. Competitive multiplayer could give the game tremendous replay value and build a community of players who return regularly.

What do other players think?

Would you play a PvP arena mode? Which would you prefer: 1v1, 2v2, elimination tournaments, or a cooperative campaign?

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts, and I hope the Meta Quest team considers something like this for Asgard's Wrath 2 or a future game!

I recently shared a feature suggestion for Asgard's Wrath 2 involving multiplayer PvP arenas, 1v1 and 2v2 battles, ranked tournaments, and a future cooperative campaign mode.

I believe these features could bring a whole new level of excitement and replay value to the game.

I'd also love to hear feedback from other players.

    Thank you!

Sanzaru Games – the developers of Asgard Wrath 2 – were shut down by Meta in January 2026, so there is probably no hope that your wish will come true.🤷🏽

It would be a great idea but unfortunately as the team that developed the game no longer exists, it's highly unlikely to happen. As for other games, I'm sure there must be PvP games available already on the store. Population: One, and Blaston come to mind. There may be more.! Happy gaming anyway!!

Ideas are cheap, execution is everything. Apart from the fact that the developer studio (Sanzaru Games) no longer exists, the game is simply way too resource intensive to support multiplayer, anyway.
