Gorilla Tag 0 players

I was recently banned on Gorilla Tag and now it's letting me go in but it says there's zero players online. I've looked everywhere online to find out what's going on and I've found some suggestions like restarting my router, closing the game and reopening and something about a meta update. I've tried everything except the update and it hasn't worked. I clicked the meta update link from the Gorilla Tag website but it just took me to my account where I was unable to find anything regarding an update. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I'd like to.avoid Uninstalling and reinstalling if at all possible. Thank you!

    My son's gorilla tag suddenly asked to agree to terms and then went black. We managed to sort that by reinstalling the meta app on my phone and logging back in but now it shows 0 players online. Have tried to go through GT support but it's not working - tells me to login but then says there is an error. He doesn't think he's been banned? Any suggestions? 

    He doesn't want to uninstall and reboot because he's spent money on it and doesn't want to lose purchases?

    This happened to us this morning also. We got the screen about agreeing to terms, my son accepted, everything went black. Rebooted the VR, can get into the game now, but no one else is there and it says "not currently connected to a room."

    Same thing is happening to us. Shows 0 players online and my son lost his cosmetics

    if u uninstall and reinstall it wont delete the data

    I’ve uninstalled gorilla tag and it saved everything because gorilla tag saves your data elsewhere (data it uses but your data and everything stays private)

    Hey, having the same issue. Here are some solutions that I have tried that may work. Just a warning though this is on my quest 2 and for me they worked once then didn’t let me play again.

    1. Restarting headset. It’s pretty easy as you just have to click a button but like I said, only works once.:/

    2: turning internet off for 10 minutes. Saw this one all over social media when I searched but didn’t work at all. Worth giving a go though because I saw some comments saying that it worked well.

    3: playing other games beforehand. So I figured out that the only times it let me play gorilla tag we’re when I play something else first. Worked like 3 times then didn’t anymore.

    4: using hand-tracking. I also figured out that if I played a game that uses hand tracking then joined gorilla tag it would work. Again, only worked a few times.

    5: updates. No updates were needed on gorilla tag and updating my headset did not work.

    6: playing in the morning. This works all the time and I think it’s only if you charge your headset all night.

    7: deleting and reinstalling. Worked once. Don’t be afraid though because it saves all cosmetics.

    8: clearing data. Didn’t work at all. Saves cosmetics, but puts you back in tutorial with a different colour code and name.

    9: deleting meta horizon. Deleted and reinstalled and it worked once, then permanently deleted it which worked again. I currently don’t have the app.

    i don’t know what else to do and also, I will stay in the game waiting for it to load, then the T&C will come up and freeze on my screen. Any other suggestions also hope this helps!
