Question

Meta Worlds not opening

when i open up meta worlds, after a few seconds it crashes and says meta worlds horizons has stopped working. Any way to fix this? I'm not always using it so its odd that there would be a problem with my device, I've restarted, and updated my software too.

I don't know how to fix it but I'd sure love to get my headset to crash that app every time it started. That would be awesome. Like if it would crash every time I turn on my headset and default back into pass through mode which is where I wanna be anyway. If you can tell me how to get my headset into that Condition. Please let me know. I'm all about it.

Also please understand I'm not trying to knock your choice of liking. MetaHorizon World or whatever. I just feel that if you wanna go there, you should be able to go there without your app crashing. I also feel that if I don't wanna be forced into there upon launch I shouldn't be. Especially since the update broke my controllers and I'm stuck in that world until I reboot my headset three times and get my pro controllers retracking again. And having to be stuck in that stupid world. Just aggravates me so

    Hello CalamityHere !

Thank you so much for reaching out through the forum and for the proactive steps you've already taken to troubleshoot Horizon Worlds. We truly appreciate your patience and diligence, it makes a big difference!

Let’s explore a few additional steps that may help resolve the issue:

    Clearing app data and cache:

Locate the App: Open the universal menu on your Quest 3S (right controller, Meta button). Then go to the App Library to find Horizon Worlds.

Clear App Data: Hover over Horizon Worlds and select the three horizontal dots. Go to "Details" or "Storage," and find the option to clear app data or cache.

Restart the App: After clearing the app data, restart the app and try to launch Horizon Worlds again

    Checking storage space:

Access Storage Settings: Open the universal menu (right controller, Meta button), then go to Quick Settings (clock icon), and then Settings (top right). Select "General" and then "Storage."

Review Used Space: See how much space is being used by apps, media, and other files.

Free Up Space: If your storage is nearly full, consider deleting unused apps, games, videos, screenshots, or cached data to free up space.
