Quest 3 won't load games

• Log out of the Meta Quest mobile app
• Hard reboot the headset by holding the power button for 30 seconds.
• Log back into the Meta Quest mobile app

Once all set, do let us know how things continue to appear! We want to exhaust all options before attempting a factory reset of the device.

I am experiencing a similar problem on my Quest 3 and since the German support page is absolutely not helpful, I try it here. Thanks in advance for trying to help me out of this annoying situation.

Here are the details: On my Quest 3 there is one game, Walk About Minigolf, which I played a lot without encountering problems and all of a sudden the game won´t load anymore. When I click on it, I see only the very first loading screen - black with the 3 dots blinking - and that never changes. I also have a Quest 2 in my account, that runs the same game without any problem. So I find it obvious it is the Quest 3 device causing the problem and it has to be solved there. Other games are working normally on my Quest 3 and months ago I had a similar problem with "Ghost Signal" for which I cannot remember what had helped in the end, since also there I did so many things.

This is what I did for the current problem so far and obviously hasn´t helped yet:

- deinstall and reinstall the game,

- delete all game data (not sure if thats really clearing the cache as I read online),

- hard reset with holding power and vol - button for 10 secs and then restart device,

- hard reset by holding down the power button for 30 secs.

I haven´t done the factory reset yet since that seems to be a bit too drastic for only one game not loading and due to my library of about 30 games and apps that should be the absolute last option. Some of the games don´t support the cloud backup. Do you have ideas what I can still try before a factory reset?

That’s super frustrating the Quest 3 is amazing when it works, but these loading issues can be a pain. Before doing a factory reset, try clearing the app data for those specific games through the headset settings (Storage → Apps → select the game → Clear data). It won’t always wipe saves, but it can fix corrupted files. Also make sure your headset has plenty of free storage, because low space can cause black screens too. I had a similar issue once with another game and thought I’d have to reset everything, but clearing data fixed it. Hope you get it sorted nothing worse than wanting to play and being stuck on a loading screen (reminds me of dealing with weird installs on Minecraft APK Download, lol).

I got my meta quest 3 and it came with Batman shadow and beat saber. I got the Batman game but I wasn’t able to get beat saber. I checked my email in case I was a separate code but nothing came up. I checked the store itself and it said I have to buy it still when I should’ve gotten it included in my bundle. Some help would be appreciated!

Probbaly a space problem trie deleting some apps

Same for me it’s a game called virtual skates it just happened today and I don’t know why I done a hard reboot put my headset and sleep powered it off and powered it back on uninstall the game and reinstall it and still I get stuck with a black screen😢
