Upgrading vr does my data save

Hi Lemon0842,

Thanks for posting into our forum. We see you're looking to upgrade to the Xbox edition Quest 3S from the Quest 2 and you're wondering if all of your data will transfer over, and we'll be happy to answer this! So first off, congrats on looking into an upgrade! The Xbox edition of the Quest 3S is a great piece of tech that combines the best of both Xbox and the Metaverse, we're sure you won't be disappointed!

So to your question, the simple answer is yes! All of your saved data and purchased will transfer from your Quest 2 to the Quest 3S as long as you use the same account and "Cloud Backup" is enabled in your settings, as all of your data is associated with your account rather than the actual device itself so you're good to go with the upgrade.
