Quest Project Settings in Unreal

If found bits and pieces of Project Settings and recommendations what you have to do in order to develop specifically for the Quest.
However. I am not able to resolve FPS issues. Even if I am testing just primitive objects like 1 x plane and 1 x sphere.

Is a general guide available that specifically shows step by step all the project settings for Unreal and deploying an app to the Quest?
I love the Quest - I just need to find an easier way to kick-start this baby.

Project Settings in Unreal:
From the SDK Kit
RHI
Reflections
Forward Shading
AA Settings (MSAA)
etc. etc. etc.

Thank you so much for any little help, I really do appreciate that.
Happy Developing,
Bernhard

Exactly.
The normal procedure is; place lights - build lightmaps - evaluate / tweak light settings - build lightmaps etc.
You have to think old school with Quest because its a mobile processor and its already magic what it can do.

Unreal has realtime support but for now it's for desktop-archviz. Even with a 2080TI you won't be running VR at 90 fps. Let alone a mobile chip like in the quest that maybe has 1% of the 2080TI power.

Last week Unreal had a live stream on real time lighting. See here;

yes. Thanks for the info and the video. That all makes sense. Just really wonder how people work when using ES3.1 - the preview takes forever. I wonder if it's then better to do all your lighting anyways in an old school offline ray tracer like Vray. Nail the look and the lighting and bake everything.

Regardless if you use 3dsmax or Unreal.
But it seems to be the better idea to use max and bake all your stuff with an offline ray tracer.

What you think?

I wish I could find a community that works on a daily base on Quest projects.
I couldn't find one so far - just love the Quest and want to find an efficient workflow to create content for the Quest.

Thanks a lot for all your thoughts, hints and infos.
Appreciate that a lot man.

cheers
