Can't connect to Garmin or Strava with my new Meta Oakley Vanguard

This Wednesday 22nd of October I bought the glasses on LA @ Dolphin Mall.

Then I took a flight back to my country in Ecuador and when I tried to activate the features I can't seem to find them. Can you tell me if this is becauyse of the geolocation? And if so, how can I play around it so I can get the features? I'm an athlete and I was expecting to use these from the very beginning and now I'm just sad I can't find a solution for this.

I somehow managed to install the Meta AI Connect IQ but it also showed before that it wasn't available in my region or something like that. I just want to use all the features I bought these sunglasses for, help me please.

      i have the same issue with my vanguard glasses. no strava or garmin application available to select. it is utterly frustrating since I bought these glasses specifically to use both of these applications.

        This seems to be a chronic issue. I’m having it with my new Skyler gen2s. I’ve followed the troubleshooting instructions and they don’t help. I’m in the US and being able to connect to the fitness apps was the reason I bought the glasses.

        Did anyone solved the issue? I am based in Italy, got the glasses yesterday and I am facing exactly the same problem…here I read posts dated 2-3 months ago and seems nothing has been done …embarrassing isn’t it?

          facebook two support tickets are deprioritised and tech support is silent for a weeks now. Hundreds of support tickets are ignored. I see posts everywhere. Reddit, Facebook, oakley forums, …

          I am having the same issues. I am in Romania and can't see other apps than the 3 music apps. Anyone managed to get a fix?

          Compré los oakley meta y tengo el mismo problema en Argentina. Nunca me dijeron que iba a comprar un pisa papeles en la tienda oficial de oakley en el sawgrass Mill y sabían que era para llevarme Argentina. Tengo 5 pares de gafas, cascos y debas accesorios de oakley. No les pienso comprar nunca más después de esto.

            That’s not a valid answer. They should just enable it and be done with it. I use ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot heavily in Argentina, yet I can't use the Garmin integration. This is just stupid on the part of Oakley and Meta. I’m never buying another Oakley product again, and as for Meta—it’s not worth it anyway, since it’s the worst AI on the market.

            I have the same problem; I’m totally disappointed. These restrictions make no sense. I’m an athlete and I need Garmin and Strava to work; I don’t care about Meta AI—it’s garbage.
