Feature request: Arabic (Quran, Uthmani script) in the Ray-Ban Display teleprompter

Hello,

I am an imam in Berlin, Germany. During prayer I recite long passages of the Quran from memory, and a discreet teleprompter on glasses would help me and many other imams a lot. The Meta Ray-Ban Display looks like the right product, so before buying I would like to ask:

1. Can the teleprompter show Arabic text correctly - right-to-left, with connected letters and all diacritics (harakat), in Uthmani Quran script?

2. If not: can a script be shown as images (e.g. one Quran page per card), or can a developer web app (HTML/CSS with an Arabic web font) show Arabic text on the display?

3. Is Arabic support for the teleprompter planned, and is the teleprompter available in Germany?

I can provide a test file (Al-Fatiha and Al-Baqarah 1-5 as text, images and PDF). There is real demand: many imams would use such glasses.

Thank you,

Ahmad El-Ali

Imam, Berlin, Germany

This is the Quest VR headsets section of the forum. You need to ask this question in the smart glasses forum. I do know that the Quest headset does not support Arabic language, but I'm not sure about the glasses.

Here is a link to the smart glasses forum.

Sorry, my friend, I should also let you know that this is a user only forum so making a request here will not be seen by Meta.. It would be better for you to contact Meta through their official website with your request.
