Question

I am unable to continue a conversation without saying "Hey Meta"

I have the preference enabled in my settings  so that I can continue a dialogue without  repeatedly saying " Hey Meta"and  it has been working fine until the last week. It is frustrating because I can't  continue a conversation. Anyone else having this problem.

Thanks for contacting us with this issue! We're happy to sort out your issue with your Meta AI glasses.

 

Let's start with a hard reboot. To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Slide the power button back to power the glasses off.
  2. Press and hold the capture button.
  3. While still holding the capture button, slide the power button forwards to turn your glasses back on.
  4. Once the status light LED has turned red, release the capture button.

If this doesn't work, there might be a bug, for which you can file a bug report. You can do this via the Meta AI app by following the steps here. From there, the team will reach out to you separately.

    Sometimes after updates since settings are reset. Check your "Hey Meta"-preferences if you have enabled the continuous talking. 

    Make sure the slider is on the proper side.
