Lost Connection to Google Calendar

I have the Oakley Meta HSTN glasses gen2. The last few days there was an apple update to 26.6.1 as well as a meta update and glasses update. Since updating if I ask my glasses what's on my calendar or ask in the Meta App, it says it can not connect to google, to add the calendar in the meta app. However the meeting that are on my calendar it will remind me of them when they come up, I just can pull the info if asked. It also reminds me every weekday of a meeting that was deleted from my calendar a couple months ago. I have factory reset the glasses, deleted the meta app and re-setup as new glasses. No matter what I do it will not check my google calendar. I ever removed the meta permissions in google and readded, nothing is working. When I call support they say go to Oakley, and Oakley says go to Meta. Only thing else Oakley asks if I want to do a warranty replacement. Everything works except google calendar. Can't find any info if this happens or how to fix.

Sounds like you need to delete the Meta AI app from your phone and all its data, then reinstall it.

same here....I've spent the last two hours trying to fix...doing everything they suggest...they now say it's on googles end.

Me too. Since IPhone software update and glasses update neither my HSTN 01XL or Vanguard sunglasses can connect to Google or outlook calendars. I’ve done all the recommended suggestions several times, including repairing glasses to iPhone.

I finally found someone that had a different way to wipe the glasses and it worked. Now I am able to change the voice, but I will have to wait until Monday to see if that rouge calendar reminder is gone, I hope so since I am able to change the voice. However the google calendar still doesn't connect, but it will remind me when a meeting comes up that's on my google calendar, strange it does that but won't check when asked.

what makes me mad about all this is that no comments or updates from Meta regarding this.  At least an update, if there is one (haven't seen yet) saying we know there is an issue and we are working hard to fix it.  Not seeing anything and the number of people with the issue tells me they just don't care..we'll take your money for the glasses but deal with the problems and suck it up!

I agree that some kind of response is needed after so many days have passed. Garmin has the it’s issues but at least it acknowledges problems.

Report the bug via the Meta AI app.

Update on my issue, after finding the alternative way to factory reset the glasses, my phantom calendar reminder every weekday morning is finally gone, and I am also able to change voices as well. The calendar link is still not working. It went from saying it could not connect, to yesterday it has started saying it checked my calendar and I don't have anything for the day, even though I do, so its still not working correctly. I also tried the glasses on a different iPhone that was a few OS versions behind, and I get the same result, so it wasn't the iPhone OS update, it seems to have been the Meta update. I also had a friend that just got the glasses, and he has a google pixel phone. He didn't have the calendar linked, so I had him link his google calendar and try, his didn't work either.

Yesterday the Google Calendar started working if I did it from the app, but still not through the glasses. Then after a few hours it started working through the glasses. It is still working this morning so hopefully it will stay working and whatever backend issue they had, they learned from their mistake!.
