Meta Ray-Ban Display – Neural Band Not Charging, Serial Number Not Recognized

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a brand-new Meta Ray-Ban Display. However, the Neural Band cannot charge at all — no indicator lights or response when connected to the charger.

I tried to register the device using its serial number, but the support page shows an error message saying “We couldn’t find information for this product”, so I can’t submit a support request.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Is there another way to contact Meta Support or get warranty service for this product?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you 🙏

Try an other power adapter that supports voltages greater than five Volts.

Try turning the the dock the other way around.

Try turning the USB C plug the other way around.

Hope one of these suggestions might help.

    Thanks for your suggestions!
I’ve tried all of those — using a different power adapter (higher voltage), flipping the dock, and reversing the USB-C plug — but unfortunately, the Neural Band still won’t charge.

I’m having the same issue. I noticed it doesn’t charge unless I press and hold the power button for ~8 seconds to force power off, then it’ll charge when the band is off.

Frustrating experience when i put my band on this morning, after charging all night, only to realize it never charged.

I was having the same issue. I wiped the charger and the band with some isopropyl alcohol and it worked fine. Try that
