Oakley HSTN Glasses Disconnect When Touch and Hold is used to try to start the AI

I've had my HSTN glasses for a little over a week. For battery I quickly turned off the Hey Meta commands and have been using the touch and hold to launch it.

This morning, anytime I attempt to do so it causes the glasses to disconnect. The white led will quickly flash then the glasses appear to disconnect before reconnecting a few moments later.

All other touch controls work and if I set touch and hold to launch music, that works. Only when tied to the AI does it cause a disconnect.
I also tried it with touch and hold connected to live AI and that launches fine. Only the normal meta AI option causes the problem.

The AI launches just fine to Hey Meta commands.
I've tried forced reboots and repairing with no result.

The App and Firmware are up to date.

I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Same problem here with Gen2 RayBans — but on mine, neither Meta AI nor Apple Music will launch with the touchpad long press. Only Conversation Focus is usable via long press. Super frustrating. This only started after the v26 update I did today.

Exactly the same thing happens to me, I have been doing some tests the only temporary solution that I can provide you that works for me while they fix it is that if you keep the "hey meta by voice command" disabled and activate the "adaptive volume" META IA works again with the touch panel, I hope it helps you

Can confirm that turning adaptive volume on causes the AI to once again work with the touch pad hold.

What an odd bug. What are the odds we get a fix for this?
