Ray-Ban Meta bricked after firmware update - No LED, no power

Hello,

My Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer became completely unresponsive during a firmware update.

The update started normally, but during the "Restarting" phase, it remained on that screen for about 20 minutes. After that, the glasses disconnected and never turned on again.

Since then:

- No LED lights at all.

- No response to the power switch.

- No pairing mode.

- The Meta View app cannot detect the glasses.

- The charging case appears to be working normally.

Is there any recovery procedure available, or does the device need service?

I would try a factory reset 

To factory reset your Ray-Ban Meta or Meta smart glasses, ensure they are powered on and fold both arms closed. Rapidly press the top capture button five times. When the LED turns solid orange, press and hold the button for 5 seconds until it flashes white and orange. Release the button to complete the reset

    Very similar happened to me.  About 90 days old, Gen 1.  I turned them off with the manual switch on the left arm, held the shutter button, and turned them on.  The right light comes on for 5ish seconds.  That's all I can get them to do.  Completely unresponsive otherwise.  I've repeatedly pressed the shutter button 5x, tried everything.  Case is fully charged.   Without the glasses, the case LED is green.  With the glasses, the case button is orange.  Very disappointed.
