Ray-Ban Meta glasses battery drains fast, serial number not recognized

I’m experiencing a serious battery degradation issue with my Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

The glasses were purchased from an authorized third-party optical retailer (LensCrafters). After about a year of normal use, the battery now drains abnormally fast and the smart features are no longer usable.

I’ve tried all official support channels, but I’m stuck in an automated loop:
- When selecting Ray-Ban Meta glasses -> battery issue, I’m required to enter a serial number
- The serial number is not recognized by the Meta Store system (likely due to third-party purchase)
- Selecting “third-party retailer” redirects me to Ray-Ban, which does not handle smart battery or AI hardware issues
- I’m unable to create a support case or receive any support emails

I do have:
- The physical device
- The serial number (on the glasses)
- Original proof of purchase

Thank you for your help.

I can't help you with that issue directly but usually batteries are warrantyed only on year. I don't want to destroy your illusions but I don't think you will get a replacement.

The thing with the serial number is unusual. Even though the glasses are sold through a third party the number should be recognized.

Try to copy the number from the app (device info) or to get support via the Meta AI-App directly.

Hope that helps you to resolve your issue.

"Meta's lack of a direct support email for a product sold at your official retail partner forces customers into an automated loop that rejects valid serial numbers. This needs to be fixed."  Even Metas own A.I. knows this is ridiculous. Meta making people jump thru hoops for a hardware fix is absurd. If this doesn't change my next pair of "smart" glasses will be a competitors for sure.
