Rayban stories will not update to use with app

I am having the same problem 

it goes through the ‘search for upgrades’

Then gets to the point when it says upgrades ready or something like that

up comes the  message ‘technical error’ 

sometimes it won’t connect with the glasses even though the blue tooth is connect and you change the volume etc so the glasses are talking to my phone even though the app says they are not

I have this problem since the App Upgrade. I have Gen 1 Rayban Stories with my prescription in (not cheap). Since the App update my Glasses needed to be re-set up in the app. It announces that a software update is ready to install. You click Install, join the network. then you get a message saying Try Again, we ran into a system error. It is not possible to get beyond this point. Various forums suggest Hard reset of the phone. (iPhone). I have done this. No change. It suggests deleting the Meta Ai App. I have done this. No change. I have signed out and back in again. No change. I have done a full factory reset of the glasses (thereby losing all my footage) No change. This has completely Bricked my glasses and something needs to be done. The App now says Finish device setup Ray-Ban Stories 000J. If you try this it states it can't connect to glasses. If you try to update the software you end up in the Try again loop. I need to use them in two weeks and they are now totally useless. A colleague at work has the same issue, he tried to pair his Stories to his phone yesterday and suffered the same problem. He also did the factory reset and lost all his footage and now has non functioning glasses. Please Please Please do something Meta!

Any danger of meta fixing ? I am on IPhone Pro max 16, running IOS 26.5.2

My Meta Ai app version is 282.0.0
