SOS: Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses Failed — Desperate for a Clear Path to Warranty or Replacement
I purchased a pair of Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses for approximately $800, and the speakers and voice functionality have completely stopped working. I have already gone through all of the recommended troubleshooting steps, including resetting the glasses multiple times, but nothing has resolved the issue.
I contacted Luxottica (Luxottica/Luxor), and they advised me that I needed to contact Meta directly for assistance. However, when I try to submit a support request through Meta, I am redirected back to Ray-Ban. I have been going back and forth between the two companies without any clear path to getting my glasses repaired or replaced.
As a customer, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. It feels like I'm being sent in circles instead of being given a straightforward way to resolve an issue with a premium product. I even had to create an account just to submit this message, yet I still cannot find a simple email address, phone number, or replacement portal that actually works.
I'm simply asking for someone to provide real customer service. Please tell me:
- Where can I submit my proof of purchase and warranty claim?
- Is there a direct email address or phone number for the team that handles replacements?
- What is the correct process to have my defective glasses repaired or replaced?
After spending nearly $800 on these glasses, I expected a much better support experience. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect clear instructions and an accessible way to obtain warranty service when a product fails.
