Can't get Unity5 and Oculus to work together
I'm really confused, I think more so because the last time I tried (successfully) was nearly a year ago with Unity4 and older SDKs/runtimes etc.
Firstly, getting the latest files seems to be a no no? Especially for me because even playing games outside of Unity it's saying my graphics card needs to be updated (it's the latest and it's a good card). So I'm trying to use older files.
I currently have oculus_runtime_sdk_0.6.0.1_win installed. Am using oculus_runtime_sdk_0.6.0.1_win. Yet I'm forced to use the latest 'Oculus Utilities for Unity 5 V0.1.3.0-beta' files because anything else crashes my Unity when I hit play.
Also, this seems to be a new thing but in the tutorial I'm following it insists that I use virtual desktop script to make it work with the rift (DK2)? It's mainly that what it likes the least. I'm getting things like;
"Assets/OVR/Scripts/OVRCamera.cs(28,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `OVR' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?"
So yeah, there are SO many elements that need bringing together without having any of them conflicting with each other. I can't even just reinstall everything here, any ideas?
