DX9 horizontal tearing

So i'm working with a plugin that performs much better under DX9 and i'd prefer to use it for now, the problem that i'm facing is pretty bad horizontal tearing (about 10 noticeable tears) which results ina really wobbly looking world even when standing perfectly still.

I know that dx9 is deprecated now but does anyone have a workaround for this?

using unity 5.0.2f1 and sdk 0.6.0.0

I don't believe DX9 is supported any longer, and your effort is probably better spent updating to DX11.

0.5.0.1 supports DX9, but understand it won't be supported forever (as new runtimes come out).
