Hand Tracking in Editor

Has anyone got the hand tracking demos to work in editor?

Is this possible or do we currently need to build an APK in order to get this to work?

@bakanoodle not sure if you got your answer, are you looking for hand data being synchronised between Quest and Editor, so say you can quickly iterate? If that's the case I've put together small tool that'll do that.

I can not post links, just have a look on github for Unity.QuestRemoteHandTracking

You are awesome! This is a feature that we desperately need, it really sucks having to build and install an APK each time we are trying to implement Hand Tracking. I will give this a shot and see how it behaves.

Ysiu_ This is awesome, will check this out! Would this work for those with Rift S, or is it looking for something specifically for the Quest?

it's just Quest, nothing more than just sending hand related data over TCP, I'm sure Unity / Qculus will bridge that at some point with proper link integration.

    [SOLVED]
    - just restart the Oculus quest after system version update

    Hello all,
I've created a build for Oculus quest: empty scene with OVRCameraRig, Hands and InteractableToolsSDKDriver for hand tracking interactions.
The first build I've created had only: OVRCameraRig and Hands prefab, a tutorial showed this is enough to show hand tracking.
    - after playing the scene in Oculus Quest, I saw a hand detected for a second at the top of the screen and disappear.

    Questions:
    1. Can I use hand tracking inside "Oculus Home" without any applications yet.
    2. How do you enable the hand tracking on your device? The internet says: Go to Setting -> experimental features -> enable hand tracking. Oculus quest says: Experimental features: Bluetooth option only, no recall about Hand tracking.

This option is not available for me...

My quest was updated and maybe it caused issues? The update version is: 12.0.0.226.469.188362039

Maybe Oculus decided to disable hands tracking?

    [EDIT]
Just tested the hand tracking on another Oculus Quest and its the same version as mine oculus, and the hand tracking in experimental features is showing and enabled in Oculus Home.

staff members from Oculus please help?

Is there any chance to fix the placement of the FingerTipPokeToolIndex?
By the moment I see that it is not attached to the visual tip of the index finger and sometimes moves independently from it. :(
Also, when I tried to add PokeTools for other fingers they are placed at the palm level and not moving anymore.
