hydra + windows 8

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck getting unity builds with hydra hands in them to work under windows 8?
So far the build runs fine under windows 7 but under windows 8 It does not recognise when i hit the start button.
The best I managed was to install the driver (which shouldn't be needed because its in the build) and get the right hand hydra to act as the mouse which is useless.

If anyone has a solution to this please let me know, or Ill have to wipe the laptop and install 7.

Many thanks in advance,
Felix

Hor me Hydra on Windows 8 works perfectly in unity, without installing drivers. So I guesss it's not Win8. I had some problems like yours on win7 machine so I assume it's a Hydra problem (resolved by disabling a Joystick driver, as for some reason windows installed two drivers as if I wass using two hydras)
When you go into Windows Joystick settings, does it recognise Hydra?

Hi thanks for your input! When unity is open on windows 8 and i press play the hydra behaves as expected. When i make a build and run that it does not respond to anything i do to the hydra. On win 7 it works both in unity and with the build.
Something is causing the build on windows 8 to not see the hydra, or wake it up i guess.

On MacOs there is/was a conflict between the oculus and (beta) hydra plugins. I have to unplug oculus USB, startup unity-app, wait for first scene and reconnect oculus usb again. Otherwise the hydra-controllers won't be recognized/initialized properly.
