Mesh Edges Flickering?

Hey guys! Hoping to get a little help with a bit of a problem I've been having on my project for quite some time now and have had no success in figuring out.. the problem is that many of the models of buildings that I import from 3dsmax have this flickering happening on many of the mesh's edges. It's rather consistent, though for some reason when looking straight on with a wall or something seems to minimize the flickering..? What's even weirder to me is that it only happens when I have OVR mode enabled in my game. Using just a normal camera looks just fine. I'm just so lost with this one I'm not even sure where I should be looking..

My OVR camera setup is using 3 cameras - one with very low near and far clip planes for my Player layer, one very far for my sky layer, and the other for everything else. Not sure if that helps really.. =/

Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions!

I also facing the same issue, My meshs and scene objects look great when look in scene view or go through in scene with
first person controller. but when i using the oculus the texture look blur and noisy and flicking as well.

I'm using unity 5.0f and window 8.1 and oculus runtime is 6.0 for window.

Can you use this Unity version and the latest Oculus Runtime (0.7.0.0)?

Could it be a z-fighting issue? Are your assets and a really strange scale? They should be 1:1, meaning 1 unit is 1 meter. You can try adjusting the near/far clip plane of the camera as well. Maybe it has to do with shadowing, I'd look at the shaders on the objects with the problem (especially if you upgraded a Unity 4 project to Unity 5). If none of that helps, can you take a short video of the problem?

    Hello cyberreality,
i didnt found any solution on camera jittering and mesh edges flickering.
    1) I tried with making time warp off in OVRCameraRig
    2) Adjusted the Camera near and far clip plane.
    3) I tried with making time warp on and FreezeTimeWarp on in OVRCameraRig.
resulted in no flickering but ovrcamera freezed.

I am facing the same problem as it is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLV5Xg4 ... e=youtu.be posted earlier

Hey loginpawan, did you find a solution to the flickering mesh problem? I have the same problem with a simple scene consisting of a few cubes with moble/unlit shader and baked occlusion texture attached. I have no lights in the scene so can't be a shadowing issue. Also, no geometry overlaps so don't think it's a z fighting issue like mentioned above. Any suggestions?

Rift always uses 24-bit depth buffers. Please try using the Forward rendering path and 4x antialiasing. Also, double-check that the ratio between far clip and near clip on each of your cameras is less than 1000. For instance, 0.1, 100.

    Hi
Did any one found the solid solution I'm facing the same problem in Unity2017.2.0f3 and flickering seems to be very high around the edge.
Now here is the thing when I change my antialiasing setting from 4x to 8x then it is working fine. But now the whole app experience in dead cause of the lagging issue.
I'll appreciate if anyone can help me on this as I'm totally messed up cause of this issue.
