Oculus 1.3 Requires Unity 5.3.4p1 + New OVRPlugin for Unity 5

To develop for Oculus 1.3 you'll NEED to specifically be using Unity 5.3.4p1:
https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/patch-releases

You will also NEED to download the OVRPlugin separately and patch Unity:
https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/game-engines/1.3.0/OVRPlugin_for_Unity_5/

Finally, you'll have to update the Oculus Unity Utilities:
https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/game-engines/1.3.0/Oculus_Utilities_for_Unity_5/

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.

I have everything running fine in unity on a DK2 with 1.3, however when I make a build it will only show up on the monitor and not DK2. I have tried with home turned on and off first etc. VR enabled is on and plays fine in unity editor, I have allow 3rd party apps checked and all the other elements I am not sure why my build won't enable the headset.

I have the exact same! Need help lol

Good to know it's not just me:). I am wondering if there is any news on this, kind of stuck at the moment. Only additional info I can think of is I am on Windows 8.1 not 10.

Here are some things asked by engineering.

    1) Is HSW (health and safety warning) pending?
    2) Are you using the 0.8 (or older) runtime/SDK?

    3) Does the log say anything? Please send output_log.txt.

    4) Does it work if you close the editor before launching the build?

    5) Does anything else run, such as Home or one of our sample scenes?

Thank you so much!, Yes all working now, very happy. I checked everything you had listed. Looks like I missed 2 D3D files from the 1.3 SDK in the Editor Tools64 folder, Dropped them in and a running build now. All my fault, thank you for pointing me in the right direction much appreciated.

PixelRouter, you'l have to uninstall 0.8 and grab https://www.oculus.com/en-us/setup/

Another question, i'm getting a much lighter image in the rift vs. onscreen now, and i also have a blue bar to the right about 50 pixels wide visible on both the monitor and rift, any ideas?

I'm also having issues with the bar on the right, it changes color and only shows on the main monitor which isn't a huge issue for playing the game but it is a problem for screen capturing. Does anyone know how to fix it?

It also happens with a completely fresh project, just enabling VR.

The legacy unity integration is epic at current state. It feels really really polished. Tested on 4.6.9. Thanks for supporting Unity4!
