Oculus touch controllers not working properly in unity

I set up everything in unity, and the oculus touch controller's positional tracking doesn't seem to work in unity.  It only shows the rotation.  Oculus touch works great with everything else, but for some reason it isn't working well in unity.

I am using unity version 5.4.3p1 and it appears to be compatible with oculus utilities

How are you checking the position and rotation of each hand? Are you using the OVRCameraRig prefab? If so, are the leftHandAnchor and rightHandAnchor GameObjects moving correctly?

Same story, guys... Even if I'm using OVRCameraRig prefab from OVR folder. Unity 5.5.0p1

And... in games from Oculus Store everything works fine

That code looks correct. It should work with Unity 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5 equally well. Sometimes Touch position tracking can take a few seconds to start working as it builds confidence in the pose estimates, but that should apply the same to all apps. There is no code inside Unity or the Utilities that would be dropping the position.
