OSX Gamepad

OK I am still waiting on my Rift. Hopefully next week.

I am trying to work out the Unity OVRController and the input manager. I want to get use the Controller to do various Things. Direction on the left stick, Crouch etc.

I am using a Xbox 360 wired controller and the Tattleboogle driver http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver

Anyone had any luck on this yet? Does anyone know of any Setup scripts for this?

Ta.

I've not been able to get the OVRPlayerController to work with a Mac using an XBOX 360 controller. Adjusting the Input manager for Horizontal and Vertical to use the 3rd and 4th Joystick axis does not enable the 360 controller to work for movement as expected. Note these input manager changes work fine for the standard Unity FirstPersonController.
    What am I missing?

I finally figured out how to get an XBOX controller to work properly with OSX, find the details below:

Unity / Oculus First Person Controller Gamepad Solution for Mac OSX

    1) Start with the standard Unity ‘First Person Controller’
    2) Delete the Single Camera under First Person Controller in the Hierarchy
    3) Drag the ovrCameraController from assets to FirstPersonController to replace the single camera
    4) See the inspector for ovrCameraController – set the Follow Orientation to ovrCameraController
    5) Change the Edit>ProjectSetting>Input setting in the inspector
      a) Duplicate Mouse X (this is to maintain existing mouse ‘look’ capability)
      b) Change one of the Mouse X settings to Joystick and 3rd axis
      c) Change the Mouse Y settings to Joystick and 4th axis
