OVRInput.Get() not working anymore, older builds also affected

Hello,

I'm facing a weird problem in my latest Unity build : neither the remote nor the touch controller inputs are detected anymore... I built the game a couple of weeks back and everything worked fine... The hardware is well detected and everything else works fine (access to the oculus menu, playing other oculus games, etc...).
I built in Unity 2017.2.0f3, using OVR plugin 1.22.0, then 1.27.0 but the same issue occurs with Unity 2018.2.0b9 and OVR plugin 1.25.

I tested the same build on another computer with no success...

Was there a recent driver update or something like that ? I cant understand how a working build can be affected all of a sudden !

Here is a code snippet used for debug purpose, the "Update" log appears but not the "Button Down". The script is used in combination of an OVR Manager.

void Update ()
    {
        OVRInput.Update();
        Debug.Log("Update");
        if (OVRInput.Get(OVRInput.Button.Any))
            Debug.Log("Button Down");
    }

I still have the same issue in 1.29. I still need to press the home button to start getting correct
OVRInput.GetButton()
returns. I'm running on Unity 2017.2.0.p2.

Any ideas?

Hi, i met the same issue with 1.29, may i know what you mean by 'need to press the home button' ?
I tried both
    1) Using Oculus home button in joystick to the menu and swithc back
    2) Switch back to Oculus home UI in Windows OS, and then switch back to Unity.
Still not work in my side. My unity version as
2018.2.10f1

Update my issue:
I believe the issue have fixed in my device.
Detail:
Edit > Project Settings > Player >  check the Virtual Reality Supported checkbox
There have two values under the checkbox : Oculus and OpenVR.
(Not sure why there have two values, but i do not remember changed it before) with Oculus have been default selected.
It looks like not only selected will work but need to move Oculus to the top, which default OpenVR at top before.
After i moved Oculus to the top, the issue have fixed, and i can catch the controller event finally.
