RenderTexture issue for right eye only - GearVR/Unity 5

I've added a RenderTexture to my game in unity 5 so that I can display the view of a non-OVR game camera on a plane. It works fine for the DK2 but when I try to view on the Gear VR, the right eye displays blue and purple lines on the RenderTexture plane, see example below.

Anyone else use RenderTextures in unity 5 yet and see this on the Gear VR or know if there's a fix?

I'm using unity 5, so unless there's a fix if someone can confirm this will work in unity 4, I'll pay to upgrade to 4 pro.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you on Unity 5.0.0p2 and the latest Oculus mobile version (0.4.3.1)?

Yeah, I also tried updating unity to 5.0.0p3 after I originally saw the issue with 5.0.0p2 and still saw the issue. Mobile SDK is 0.4.3.1.

Also just tried updating to the newest mobile sdk 0.5.0.0 with the same results. If anyone has unity 4 pro, would you be able to confirm that this is a mobile sdk issue and not a unity 5 issue? Was hoping I wouldn't have to pay for a month of unity 4 pro to find out if that will work. I've already used up my trial and RenderTextures aren't available in the unity 4 free version.

For anyone else getting this issue, it works in Unity 4 pro
