Unity 5 beta now available for pre-orders!

No official announcement yet, but Google gave us this: http://unity3d.com/unity/beta/5.0

Would be great to hear some people's feedback on compatibility with the new sdk etc. I'll post here as soon as I'll get to it. It's a great day :D

Sorry for the confusion. 0.4.3 does work with Unity PRO 4.6 and 5.0 betas if you make the above changes to OVRShimLoader.cs.

Is it possible to install and use both 4.5 and 5.0beta. Or does it conflict with something?
Would love to test Dk2 on Unity´s new systems...

You should be able to install to a different directory and then you'll be fine. I just did that a few days ago after reading an old webpage about it (from when version 4 was new). I haven't tried running both versions simultaneously, but I have run each of them separately.

The main thing to watch out for is: if you open an existing project in Unity 5, it will prompt you to update it. Once it has been updated, it (supposedly) won't open in the older version. Make a copy of anything you want to open in 5!

Thanks for the info. If I do a backup like I really often do, I´ll be fine then.
    Exciting! 8-)
