Will the Oculus be compatible with the new UI in Unity 4.6?

I saw this recently:

and I was wondering whether the new UI that's going to be implemented will automatically be able to work with the Oculus SDK and camera controllers.

I would like to know this because I need to stick to this package to implement my GUIs:

The new GUI system has full support for world space GUI elements. Those should work with stereo rendering out of the box and not require any special effort. Screen space might pose a problem, but for VR world space provides more immersion anyways, right? :)

The new UI system definitely looks much improved and we're excited for Unity 4.6 to come out. We've been mostly heads down on the 0.4 SDK, but from our brief initial tests it worked well in VR. We're planning to test it more thoroughly and then start using it as soon as we can.
