After updating Oculus Quest Link PC, Unreal Engine VR preview is not working

VR preview cannot be run in Unreal 5.0 and 5.1. (VR preview is available in 5.2 and 5.3.) If anyone knows a solution to this problem, please reply.

    Same here! It happens even with previously working exes packaged in 5.1. So far the only solution I have found is to upgrade each project to higher version of Unreal.
    I wonder what they have done. The serious fact is that it happens even with built applications.

      Thank you for the good responses. For now, I am proceeding with the migration to version 5.2 and working on it.

      I hope the bug gets fixed soon.

      I'm having the same issue here in UE 5.1.1. The VR preview button remain grey out after I loaded into the project. I'm pretty sure it's caused by the Meta Quest Link app update since I immediately disconneted another set of my gear(another PC and Quest2) right after I found the same issue this morning and they still worked without internet connection. (Meta Quest Link app ver. 68.0.0.433.361)

      The solution provided by michele.billi partially works, I've tried to migrate my project to UE5.3 and I can connect to my Quest 2.
      Unfortunately it's not really an ideal solution for me since some of my project's functionalities rely on runtime environment to work (More specifically, Runtime speech recognizer and some API functionalities, these plugins only works on older version of UE like 5.0 or 5.1). 

      I think it might be the UE didn't get the device state since the Meta Quest Link app did pop up after I connected by Quest Link(USB wired, not wireless Link). I'll be really grateful to here any other possible solutions.

      I found discussion on reddit, and from the thread said that it might have to do the discontinuing support with OpenXR.  (https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/1e6lq00/comment/lecf5bu/)

      I tried to migrated my UE project from v5.1.1 to v5.3.2 and it works only partially. I also tried using Virtual Desktop  to connect to the project, and currently it still work on v5.1.1 .

       

      I'm not sure how long would VD solution support since the reddit thread discussion above said that the error came from runtime issue, and it might crash once the error happens to a certain state.

      Hope there would be a solution ASAP, since using preview in UE VR project is an SUPER important tool in dev.
