Epic does it again! Free Infiltrator assets for UE4!

Every sound, every texture, every mesh, EVERYTHING that was used to create this cinematic gem is now free for the taking.

yes only problem is forget about using this for oculus games because the limit is 500 meg per game on the store:(

You can use some of the assets without using the entire thing. There are lots of great assets (buildings, robots, particles, materials, animations, etc) to use.

Edit, Launched in VR mode but I cannot move my head in the demo. Does this support Oculus? Showdown works fine?

This demo is to show how to use Matinee. You can use matinee with the DK2 (I am), but that is not the goal of this particular demo. If you are using Matinee, just remember not to take control of the user's camera.

thanks for the reply. i downloaded it, playing arround, will see if i can get it to work for the rift. epic is epic

Learn tab within Epic Launcher. From there, click on Infiltrator Demo. I think the button starts out saying "Purchase" or "Free". Click that. Once you have licensed the content, you will have a "Create Project" button. Oh, you will also need an Unreal Engine Instance installed.

    Ah yes there it is!
    Thank You

That restriction was for the Gear VR only, I thought?

No matter what GPU you have or what settings you use, you wont be running this in VR at 75fps without removing a lot of stuff from the scene. Check the number of draw calls, its pretty shocking.

Very true. And, considering that we really should be targeting 90fps at an even higher resolution than DK2... remove another 30% :D

Always easier to add stuff back in if you find you have more headroom.

I just wish it used up more GPU or CPU. I feel like it's locked at 60FPS on my monitor and 60 on the DK2.

What do you mean 500 Meg limit? A quick search on the store shows a download over 1.7 Gig.

Gave me a heart attack there for a second. My submission is 546 Meg lol
