Does Unreal 4 come packaged out of the install with Oculus support or does it need to be integrated?

Aaah, UE4 looks bloody amazing. Unity is in trouble I think.

I'll be trying it out in the next day or two, but if anyone else could answer that'd be helpful :o

It's sort of a no brainer really. After the initial training/learning period, you can bet your house that over the course of 1 month's use the workflow efficiency savings from using UE4 over UDK3 will mount to more than $19 (an hour worth of productivity maybe.) I will have switched over by the end of the weekend... I hope. Can't wait.

As for Rift support, here's a relevant wiki entry that I believe was made by Kris Redbeard who is here sometimes:

Who's this KrisRedbeard fellow you speak of?

A world of difference. It will take some time to port uscript though and you'll have to remake every material you've used in UDK. Either way, the long term benefits outweigh the short term delay by far.

@spire8989 Thanks for the wiki link, going to see if I can't get rift to work.

I like how many people are all like "whoosh! I wave my magic wand and now my project is in UE4!".
