UDK question

I have the UDK installed. When I run a map using the "start in pc" the rift head mount controls work fine, but the graphics displayed are not side by side.

I have my monitor configuration set to "duplicate" as that is the only way I can get TF2 and the Tuscany demo working. What extra option do I have to enable to try out Epic Citadel with the rift? (again, headtracking works, but the side by side video does not).

You will have to use the "Launch on PC" option. Testing in the editor is not supported.

You will also need the actual Rift headset connected in order to see the game in 3D, with warping, etc.

so 3d will not work with my home made 7 inch hmd?

because it says the stereo on command is not recognized

Sorry about that. I believe those commands only become active if a Rift is detected.

Well please feel free to start working on aspects of your project that don't require testing on the Rift.

How do you install the UDK? I dowloaded the 1,5Gb file and then extracted it but I don't know what to do next? There is the setup application but when I run it, here is what it tells me: "Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4 has already been installed on this computer." All I can do next is close the message window and nothing else happens... There is also the SetupUtility application and when I run it, it asks me for admin authorization but when I give it, nothing happens too...
I don't know what I am doing wrong?
