Meta fixed this issue! Thank you guys! I have posted about this before, so I don't wanna keep harping on this topic, but before the quest 2 eventually loses support I have to voice my concerns and disappointments in the update that allows users to rebind controllers. Some quick background: I have one hand, I am missing my left. I can strap a quest 2 controller to my left hand and press one button (either the left grab or the left trigger) I can not press 2+ buttons. I was hoping to find in the new update that I would be able to, for instance: rebind Right controller's "A" to Left controller's grab. But, no, I can not. I am only able to rebind local controls, meaning only the left grab can be bound to the left A button not the right A button. This is very sad as I have complete ability in my right hand meaning I don't need to rebind anything there to assist on the right controller. I am sure this update has helped a lot of people who have different circumstances, but it still l
Where in the world is a find my device feature for when your headset hasn't been connected to wifi. It's been 10 days since my autistic son has lost his meta2 headset, we always tell him to turn it off at night not knowing it would bite us in the butt months down the road. If you look up trademarks of individuals with neurodivergencies(autism, ADHD ect) they lose **bleep** at an alarming rate. My autistic son is no stranger to that, but he has a habit where he always puts his headset and controllers in the same place every night before bed, imagine everyone's surprise when the next day it was missing, we've torn through our home desperate to find his headset and the best answer I can get from support is to go on these forums and make a post because developers SOMETIMES read through these for new development ideas🥴 HERES MY IDEA META: add a find your headsets/controllers ability even when the device ISNT CONNECTED TO WIFI. You would save thousands of neurodivergent individua
My meta quest 2 controllers are all beat up and I was wanting to upgrade my meta quest 2 controllers to the meta quest pro controllers.

I have been trying to open my account center on face book but failed. I need help.
VR: Virtual Reality (VR) offers a fully simulated experience in a virtual environment, entirely separate from the user’s physical surroundings. Users typically wear VR headsets that immerse them in a computer-generated world, isolating them from the real world.AR: Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that enriches the real-world environment by overlaying digital elements onto it. This is typically achieved through the use of smartphones or AR glasses equipped with cameras and sensors. AR blurs the line between the virtual and physical worlds, seamlessly integrating virtual objects or information into the user’s surroundings.

Can we give a voice to the voiceless in group forums by utilizing the hand tracking utility to read sign language and voice processing to enable those voiceless to communicate easily with others seamlessly during platform use. I do believe it's possible. How many people would benefit from this add-on.
Hello 👋 everyone
Hi
There are a frustratingly large amount of games which do not offer a true left handed mode, Resident Evil 4 and the Walking Dead Saints and Sinners being two very prominent ones. They have a supposed left handed mode listed in the options but it does not swap joy stick input. This means that left handed players have to use the joystick for movement and weapon aiming with the same hand while this is not true for right handed players who can use their dominant hand for weapon interaction and non-dominant hand for movement. One solution that would be very helpful would to simply make available an option on the Oculus Quest itself to make all buttons and joystick input from the left controller act as if they came from the right controller and vice versa. This would remove the frustration of having to ask every game developer individually to add support to their game and be a one stop solution for most left handed players.
hello, a while ago i got fnaf vr and i did not understand that i needed to update the app when it asked me, now i dont see as many thinga as other people see in game because i never updated, and it is now not allowing me to update so now i am just stuck with a game i cant play without finding some type of bug which wont allow me to do certain things
Suggestion for quest2 feature. When an image has black background and light elements, lens create reflection due to how lcd and fresnel works. By turning that black color to a dark gray, the reflection would disappear. You could implement some type of color filter in settings, to convert every #000000 color to a dark gray, so to improve visual confort and experience.

Hi all,In a month ill be presenting my work at HCI International regarding a Modular 3D GUI system I've been developing as part of my PhD research. There is a short video below that I think may be of interest to you devs and hopefully spark some ideas around accessibility. It is video 1/3 that has been developed around my research, each with assocaited papers. In addition, I have a paper being published soon regarding removing tremors for ray-based interaction that I touch on briefly at the start. Very passionate about VR dev and especially this domain, so would like to take this post as an opportunity for discussion around VR UI and Accessible design.https://youtu.be/3NhJOPAUMCs Best of luck on your projects, copys of the pre-prints can be found in the description. Feel free to contact me on my website or twitter otherwise. - Corrie
hi all, hope you can help me. I recently bought an oculus rift, and I can't activate developer mode. I owned an oculus go and activated developer mode from my iphone app. When I select my oculus rift and go to devices -> VR settings nothing appears after a few seconds the word "controller" appears and nothing more. Thanks!

I would like to share with you a pleasant experiment which in my case was successful and I was happy. While wearing my Quest 2 I tried cupping my hands tightly around my ears.I noticed a greater sensation of isolation from the outside (but okay) and consequently less dispersion of the audio produced by the stock speakers.I have a pair of over ear headphones, Beats Studio which fortunately have a detachable cable. It will obviously work with all over-ear headphones that have good insulation from the outside.I just put them on making sure they covered my ears and lined up with the speakers on my Quest 2. I didn't turn them on, plugged them in and the effect was as desired. Now I can avoid using wired headphones (less annoyance) and bluetooth headphones avoiding potential interference with wifi and less power consumption.
Okay so... you can have multiple accounts inside tgmhe occulus quest. BUT you CANNOT link the headset to multiple account on the quest app. Why is that ? I want to link my account and have access to my pictures and be able to strean it, but i can't because of that.
it veri goooood 👏
Hi,Does anybody have any thoughts on this?I want to be able to emulate a quest pro controller so I can send positional data and button presses to the quest. This is for quadriplegics that may be using a mouth piece or other methods as a controller.Accessing the wireless port that the the pro controller uses and send data to say that the controllers are at this position in space would open up gaming and access to a range of people that would benefit from the virtual environment. I'd say the wireless protocol is locked down otherwise it would open up 3rd party controller manufacture for the quest.Or would it.
