I have verified myself live numerous times with a chat agent via facebook regarding an old Instagram account of mine, and they refuse to delete it. I don't have access to the old account. It is a dead account that locked me out a long time ago when Facebook integrated with Instagram. I used to be able to log into that Instagram with facebook but ever since then, nope. I have over the last few years needed it deleted for branding but Meta does nothing, 90% of everything goes through AI, and service agents have no power.I would really like someone at Meta to get in contact with me so I can pull the plug on this old account. Any other platform I have had a problem it has been no problem to do this once I verified my identity. Meta's securiy protocol makes no sense and in iinstances like this seem to have put themselves and users at a dead end which is bad policy.
I need apk that shows my details and my posts about maxmus interiorszw
We’re planning to develop an Android social media app that can handle a large number of users as it grows. The app will include features like user profiles, real-time messaging, image/video uploads, news feed, notifications, and possibly live streaming in the future. With these requirements in mind, which tools, frameworks, and backend technologies would you recommend specifically for Android app development to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability? If you could share your personal experience—such as challenges you faced or tech stack choices that worked well—that would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance!
I have this issue when integrating Meta Horizon Billing Compatibility SDK into my 2D android app. The returned BillingResponseCode is always DEVELOPER_ERROR after the BillingClient initialization and calling startConnection on the initializatied BillingClient. Anyone who give me a hint would be appreciated.
I have an android app where users can automate comments and direct messages triggered by keywords set on their reels. I am using Instagram graph API with Instagram login only. When capturing screencast and automated messages send to users, the screen gets black when I try to capture inbox messages. The voice is recorded but the screen gets black. I have used countless screen recording apps even premium ones but the problem still persists and I am unable to pass review. Any suggestions and help regarding this matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks
Hello there!I've been developing apps since 2010, windows web and Android. I'm interested in getting started with meta glasses app development and wondering what's the best place to start.Which IDE and programming languages does it use? Any links? Could I use an emulator for testing or would I have to purchases glasses? Is there a development kit available that includes glasses with developer mode available?Thank you!Moeed / leisure321
Hi everyone. I'm new to VR development and just created my first VR project in Unity for Meta Quest 3. When I run the game through Unity Link (Oculus Link) from my PC, it works smoothly with good graphics and no lag. My PC has 32 GB RAM and the game uses around 9 GB while running. But when I build it as an APK and run it directly on the Quest 3, I get problems like lagging, lower graphic quality, flickering, and sometimes low memory warnings. I know Quest 3 has only 8 GB RAM, so that might be part of it. But I would really appreciate help on how to optimize the game for Quest 3, what settings or methods I should use to reduce lag and improve quality, and whether there are tools to check what is using up memory on the Quest. Thanks a lot. I'm learning and want to get better at building for VR.
在系统更新之前,应用界面可以在右下角放大或者缩小,更新后,有些软件还可以放大缩小,有的软件不可以放大缩小了非常影响观感
I'm trying to port my launcher app from android over to Quest. I've followed https://developers.meta.com/horizon/resources/migrate-2d-app . I can build and debug-run the app on the quest. But that's as far as it gets. The quest (a Quest S3 in this case) shows only a black screen with 3 loading dots. I see in the logs that my app is running but the main activity (as well as the entry activity) is not showing. It is as if the quest is trying to run it as a 3D app instead of a 2D app. What special settings do I have to add to the manifest to ensure quest loads it as 2D app? (or rather, the main activity has to be 2D and a later activity switches then to 3D)
I'm trying to develop for Meta Horizon Worlds with the Desktop editor, but I can't upload my own music which is vital to my project as it is a rhythm based game. Why is that because the documentation state that I should be able to add my own audio files. What is wrong here? And when will this be fixed. I would like to submit my game for the Horizon Worlds Hackathon, but I can not if I can't upload my own custom music. I wrote this music so there are no legal issues here. See here... the current Horizon worlds Desktop editor doesn't have this audio input interface:https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/desktop-editor/assets/creating-importing-viewing-and-spawning-assets
I have glasses go and I had to reset it. I configured it on my cell phone on both Android and iOS and the configuration stops in the health and safety item because the video doesn't play. It's wonderful to have glasses that aren't being used because of a video.
I want native android app to request refresh rate change like openxr app does usinghttps://registry.khronos.org/OpenXR/specs/1.0/html/xrspec.html#xrRequestDisplayRefreshRateFBI tried to do it using ANativeWindow_setFrameRate but it doesn't work. I guess compositor ignores request from 2d apps as they control only small part of the the display.I'm using as simple testhttps://github.com/android/ndk-samples/tree/master/native-activityAfter quest 2 is forced to run in 120fps using ADB, ORV metrics tool shows that app easily provides 120 frames.Profiler shows that frames are on display only 8.35ms.App is running in passthrough mode.Just need an api to change refresh rate from android native app
It would be really nice if one is able to record a voice note as a caption for a whatsapp status. It gives room for more expression. I believe it would fly.
I am developing a native app that utilizes OpenCL, Vulkan, and OpenXR, but I’ve encountered a significant roadblock: `libOpenCL.so` cannot be dynamically loaded with dlopen because it is not included in `/etc/public.libraries.txt`.While it’s technically possible to extract the library using `adb pull /vendor/lib/libOpenCL.so` and bundle it within the APK, this is not a scalable solution for supporting a diverse range of devices, even within the Meta ecosystem. I understand this limitation may be due to security considerations, but it’s worth noting that `libvulkan.so` is already accessible. Restricting developers to Vulkan forces additional effort to convert OpenCL kernels into SPIR-V, which seems unnecessary, IMHO.Providing support for `libOpenCL.so` would significantly enhance compatibility and streamline development. This is especially important given that many deep learning frameworks rely on dynamic loading of the OpenCL library through stub code.
Hello, What about to be able to map the businesses that you are following in Instagram to google map. Right now if I want to do that, I need to bookmark the business manually in Google maps. It will be nice to dynamically see places that you are following in a map.
Hi everyoneI had a new innovative idea that can boost or generate double income from the existing regular WhatsApp , where the user can also benefits either by money
Device: Meta Quest 2 / Meta Quest 3 OS Version: v76 We are using Android MediaProjection API for screen mirroring in our contents. problem 1.After starting MediaProjection for screen mirroring in a normal Android activity, the system spawned :[com.oculus.vrshell.FocusPlaceholderActivity] This does not happen every time. But when it does, the `FocusPlaceholderActivity` takes over the input system, causing the original activity to lose input focus. After that, hand tracking completely breaks. Dear Meta Ai I recently noticed about Meta Ai but the Llama 4 seems like is not working with the conversational flow it just keeps giving me short answers like I keep asking and asking again but its not the same as it used to be they keep giving me short responses can you change that I do not like the responses that short and also giving me a list format can you change that it is causing me confusion with a longer response and I do not want to keep asking and asking
Hi everyone!I'm new to scripting and game development and just getting started with learning the basics. 😊I'm currently working on a simple quest-style game where the player needs to find a specific object and place it on a table. Once the object is correctly placed, a "congratulations" message should appear.I've tried using collision objects and working with triggers, but I'm still running into errors and the logic isn't working quite right.Could someone please guide me on how to approach this kind of interaction? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙏
I've been trying to find different ways for the past week to teleport my player to a spawn point gizmo whenever it presses a button on my custom UI screen. I have 2 scripts called GameManage2 and MainMenuUI. The MainMenuUI is supposed to send a broadcast event to my GameManage2 which is then supposed to send my player to the spawnPointGizmo I had set up. I made sure that the script settings is set up so that it's specifically that spawnPointGizmo and it gives this error: "[Respawn] parameter 0 expected a PlayerID but got a None". Code snippets for both the MainMenuUI and GameManage2 script are below... ===================Main Menu UI=================================initializeUI() { let myLogo: any = this.props.Logo let myLogoSource: ui.ImageSource = ui.ImageSource.fromTextureAsset(myLogo) this.bndLogoSource.set(myLogoSource) return ui.View({ children: [ ui.Text({
Hello,I've developed a VR locomotion device and it would be awesome to be able to use it to send joystick commands to games running on the Meta Quest. I've looked into OpenXR and SDK support on the Meta Quest but I don't believe it's possible through those methods. I then looked into seamless multitasking and 2D apps and wondered if I could develop a 2D app that receives input from the peripheral, transforms it into joystick input, then sends that input to the game. It would also be great if the 2D app could get the position and orientation of the headset and send that to the peripheral. After looking into it I don't believe what I want to do is currently possible with multitasking and 2D apps, but wanted to post here to see if I am wrong. My understanding is 2D apps can only receive input, not send it, and it only receives input when the 2D app is focused (cursor is pointing at it). It also appears a 2D app does not have a way of receiving headset position and orientation. Is my unders
Dear Meta Team,I hope you're doing well.I'm writing to share an idea that could enhance WhatsApp's functionality by providing more peace of mind to users—especially parents and families. The idea is to introduce an optional feature called "Location Logo" that allows users to voluntarily share their real-time location with trusted contacts, similar to Apple's Find My service. This would be especially useful for situations where parents or relatives are concerned about the safety and whereabouts of their children or loved ones.Key elements of this feature could include:A dedicated icon or section to manage location sharingFull control for users over who can see their location and for how longStrong privacy settings to ensure transparency and consentOptional emergency sharing or automatic check-in featuresI believe this would align well with Meta’s mission of connecting people securely while providing tools that support safety and well-being.Thank you for considering this idea. I’d be happ
I have successfully established a Bluetooth connection and implemented basic HID protocol functionality, but I'm unable to determine Quest3's parsing rules for button events, encountering difficulties in key mapping. I hope official support or experienced developers can provide guidance or documentation references. For example:In Quest3's Bluetooth HID descriptor, what are the corresponding characters/bytes for mouse movement, clicks, scroll wheel actions, etc.?Is there any publicly available official protocol documentation or reverse-engineering reference?Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi I'm trying to develop for Meta Horizon Desktop, but I can't import my own audio which is important to my game is it's and obby rhythm game. The menu options in the help show audio import, but the desktop editor and web don't have audio import as an option. Please help!! https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/desktop-editor/assets/creating-importing-viewing-and-spawning-assets
I am trying to reach the developers of meta to change the casting features. It would be way more convenient if we could use casting from the start and not have to set up from the headset. Right now I sit next to my patients and go through all screens to get to app. Then pick the program from the app and finally put headset on patient. Finally at this point I can cast. Way better if I could control the headset from my phone.
