PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3.

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:

1) For issues: Go to our
Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

V68 has Meta AI in the experimental setting for sure. I feel like Meta AI will be out of Experimental on V69.

Where about in Missouri? I have property near Salem. But I currently live in Iowa.

At any rate, keep in mind, the PTC v69 features are being rolled out slowly. Hell I just got PTC 69 last night And the multitasking feature did not show up until an hour ago.

I did not see the meta AI option at first either. But the instructions Anonymous  have helped. You have to click the voice selection option and then you should see the meta AI option.

If it ain't there,be patient. Meta rolls this out slowly and nobody really knows the logic behind how they choose who gets it when. But I know there are other people who have not seen it yet either so there's that

People have to understand when you are a beta tester of a product things may not always rule out all at once and there are bound to be bugs. If you don't have the patience for those kinds of things. Then perhaps being a beta tester isn't really the best idea for you.

Since I'm beta testing V69 I'm jumping back and forth from 68 to 69 to get an idea what's happening. Because if you see a change happening in the beta testing or most likely something happening in the Live Version

wolfabishop I'm in St Louis.  I got V69 3 days ago or whenever it was first released to beta.  I tried to troubleshoot with Meta AI on the website but I don't see where the permissions tab is either like was suggested.

You just said you jump back and forth between V68 and V69.  Do you have more than one headset?  If not don't you spend more time factory resetting your headset to go back and forth?

The Meta Horizon app on the phone, where you enable PTC. I just disable it and it will rolled back MoonstoneWolf7
