I went ahead and grabbed the ladder and returned my sensors to upside-down orientation.  The new patch definitely solved that issue.  Prior, I could not even complete the guardian setup without it shifting on me when they were upside-down.  Now it works pretty well.  I do see the occasional glitch but much improved (to be fair, I am pushing the recommended limits with a 12x9 guardian and sensors upside-down on three corners of a 14' square about 9' up from the floor).

Is this suppose to be an improvement? Im using 4 sensors all in usb 3.0 (using 2 usb controller) and the tracking is now poor since last update. Before that last update, the only problem was that sometimes, mostly after you re-enter the rift, the hand was very laggy. Restarting the software was fixing it and it was tracking brillantly.

Now tracking is poor, hand jitter, lag often, and setup process is not better at all. Also the height in VR seams unreliable. After setup, i found that the ground was lower than it should be. This is just after a succesfull calibration.

Please give us a way to roll back cause its garbage right now.

Looking forward to testing the tracking & hope those issues are finally resolved, I'm personally pretty disappointed by the lack of improvements & features to Oculus Home, that is still apparently in Beta. Also no sign of help for those who have overly bright displays & banding issues.

First thing I noticed is Home is using more GPU power. Allot more.
With pixel density on 0 it takes 40% GPU power of a GTX 1070! (was ~15%)
on 1.4x it takes 55 to 60% GPU power. (was ~30%)

That's allot of power for a straight carpet :)

I must say so far my Rift has been running smoothly before and after this latest update using the 3 sensor setup. I like the improvements to the new guardian system. I like to say thanks to the Oculus team for all their hard work in trying to get the Rift to work with so many different PC configurations.
I had a crackling sound from the headphones last night and thought it was from the new update but realized that I had changed the Rift usb connection from the back of the motherboard to the port located on the front of my case. Must be some sort of electrical interference going on there.
