The Quest 3 comes with a 3 months free trial for Horizon+.
So maybe you have to redeem that first?
I don't think you'll receive a code to activate the 3-year subscription, but to be sure, you should ask support about it.

I just finished talking with them for mine. They said they can see the transaction but it has to go higher because they aren’t able to do anything. Will see what happens

I bought the same yesterday. Definitely contact support. I used affirm for mine so its an extra step of complication but if you used a card straight through, you may be able to refund it. I’m beginning to suspect that they messed up how it processes the 3 free month promotion and is somehow making it ring out for 3 years. Its a pain. They could see my order but couldnt connect it to my account. So its escalated so they can figure out how to get it fixed.

My friend, I have done some research for you and I can tell you categorically , there is no 3 year subscription option for Horizon ±. Maximum is 1 year for $59.99. Chat GPT answer is below but I also checked with a Meta rep who helped me with an update and she says 3 years subscription is impossible. They have never offered 3 years directly or through resellers. May you have been scammed and that's why you have no code

As of now, there is no 3-year subscription plan offered by Meta Horizon+. Only the monthly and annual plans are officially supported.
Third-party retailers sell 12-month subscription cards (both physical and digital) through Best Buy, GameStop, and others, but again — no 36-month card or bundle is available.
This is what makes it look a bit strange. Maybe it's why he can't redeem the offer, as it doesn't exist.

If you read my comment, I first asked chat gpt, then checked the Meta website asking about available options, then asked a Meta rep who told me there is no 3 year subscription on offer from Meta and never has been. Is it a coincidence that you also didn't get a code ?😏 It's probably been escalated to find out who scammed you and if it was an official reseller. Meta did confirm to me that the maximum time subscription that can be offered by official resellers is 12 months. You don't have to believe me, it's on the Meta site and it's on the Meta horizon mobile app. 2 options, monthly for USD7.99 per month or 12 months for USD59.99. Maybe you got scammed by the same people.

I've searched all over, even Reddit communities and everyone says it's only 3 months free with the headset and US$7.99 pm or US$59.99 per year. The Meta rep I asked said there is only a max of 1 year available and authorized resellers can only sell a 1 year code or card. Maybe the 2 years is possible if the seller is going to give you another year subscription after the 1 year is up, but maybe that's why they're not allowing you to respond as they don't know what to do about it. The price they're charging is equivalent to $720, and that is absolutely crazy even with the extra warranty. 2 years of Horizon plus would only be $120 maximum. There is a tiny chance I'm wrong and I hope I am. I think you should be getting clarification from the seller, not Meta. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed.

He already said, he made a mistake when he said 3 years....it's 2 years.
We just thought, he bought and paid all at once. But it's a monthly paying over two years and that leads to the 191 dollars 🙃

I'm having this exact same issue. Purchased through Affirm on my phone, was charged $191.76 for what is labeled a "meta Horizon+" subscription which I assume come out montly. Quest got in, was able to connect it to my network however I think I ordered it in guest mode on my phone because its not in my recent order. Anyway, I'm logged into my account on the Quest 3 itself but cant figure out how to get the Horizon+ subscription working, its just offering me the free trial.

Oh, and I launched all of that on meta.com - using the same email address I've had registered with facebook/meta since 2015. Yet it still couldn't connect the order to my meta account because I did it in guest mode? Even though the exact match email is on the order? Not really impressed. Just want my Horizon+ subscription working and the order connected to my account for easy tracking or the warranty and subscription. Could return and reorder everything but that is a hassle.

Still havent received a single reply about it. Pretty crazy. I may just return it. This is incredibly dumb and its clear their infrastructure for customer support is extremely gated to where nothing can actually be done

you should have ordered using an email. use the email they sent. it should have an order number attached and then you can talk to customer service using the order number. thus linking it to you. this is the same issue i am having. sadly instead of just giving me a code they are trying to tech bro me through this and its just not showing up.

I’ve started a return. After learning that the customer support for this platform in India tends to lie about escalating and just manages emails to keep it hidden to protect their metrics, getting my money back by not supporting this is the only way.

Yes, this seems to be what I'm dealing with too. I keep getting told it is being dealt with and then don't hear back for days. The thing is, I'd like to keep the Quest 3, but since they can't deliver the subscription I'll be forced to return it as well. I'll be initiating that process of a return this weekend if they can't fix it by then.
How hard is is to give a subscription to a customer? I paid for it, I have the receipt? Seems like it should be the simplest of issues to resolve and having a piece of top end technology get shipped around over and over and rendered used is bad business practice.

I just had to initiate a return to solve this exact problem. Maddeningly I tried to get an RMA through support chat, but they claimed that because I have an open support ticket I can't return it! Eff that - I was able to get an RMA through the website. God I hate Meta

I am in the same boat, bought as a guest 4 days ago, tech support is allegedly "working on it," but the only responses I've gotten so far are when I contact them through chat. Otherwise I get nothing. when I do get through the chat. They just keep assuring me that I'm waiting for an email from a different division. I followed up three times and gotten the same answers so now I am returning the headset. It's just not worth the hassle.
I honestly can't believe that they allow people to check out as a guest without having a workflow in place to get them their horizon + subscription, warranty, and headset registered to their account. So sloppy, and it really demonstrates that they don't care about their customers.
