Remove Meta account set up by Hacker
Meta support instructed me to come here to address an issue where a Meta account was set up in my name, however not my email address. I'm unable to remove or disconnect the email address from a hacker who added on to my Facebook / Instagram accounts because it requires an auth-code be sent to THAT email address which is not mine. It is the email address of someone who hacked my account in July, 2024. And if I choose to Email me when someone replies here it is going to got the hackers email, not mine!

Meta Support As we have informed, these method will not guarantee the removal of the Meta Horizon account. If the method listed above is not working, the last option we have is to reach out directly to the Meta Quest Support. You may contact the Meta Quest support via this link: https://www.meta.com/help/support/. If you did not see the option to contact the support, you may reach out to the Forum instead and the Meta Quest Support will attend your inquiry via email.
- Go to the Meta forum link: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/
- Click icon at top right to log in and log in with oculus.
- You will be redirected back to the page: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/ and you will see ""Start a conversation"" button.
- Click that button and you may proceed with start a new message.
- You may fill out the subject, choose ""Off-topic"" as the Select location and explain in the Body section.
- Check the box with ""Email me when someone replies""
