Your computer does not meet the updated minimum requirements

I have a 1T m.2 ssd
Asus GeForce RTX 4070 DUAL EVO - OC Edition,
16GB DDR4 Ram
AMD Ryzen 9 5900x processor.
Windows 11 home version 24h2 and these parts meet both the minimum and recommended requirements and yet the software claims that my machine still does not meet the retail requirements
Does anyone have any good tips on what could be causing the problem and is Windows up to date, Nvidia drivers as well as Meta Quest 2 with glasses?

  • Just ignore the error message. The Meta Quest Link software doesn't recognize newer GPUs.

  • There probably is no problem. Have you tried linking your headset up wired\or air link? Does it work without issues? If yes to both of these questions then enjoy your pcvr gaming.

I have an Acer Nitro V16 laptop. Ryzen 7 8845HS Radeon 780m intergrated graphics with an RTX4060. Not mega specs by any means I get the same message on the PC link app and when buying games. I just ignore it all works fine. I mainly use Virtual Desktop to run my Meta\Steam games unless a game does not work right in Virtual Destop then I use Steam\Meta air link instead.

Most of the issue is that meta have not added cpu\graphics cards to their check list.

I use a meta link cable which is 5 meters long.

  • Well if the games are working with the cable and you have no issues then don't worry about the message. I have tried a cable but I don't like the restriction. I like to sit on a swivel chair and spin round when playing.
