Downloaded VR Videos in gallery now only play in 3D/Web-like after newest update

I’ve tried playing some downloaded VR videos on my Meta Quest 3 after the newest update, but instead of playing in VR (like they used to) they only play in a web based 3D format. 
Is there any way to change them back to VR without uninstalling and reinstalling the videos?

    We saw your post and wanted to lend a hand.

     

    Honestly, watching videos while in VR is an incredible experience and having an issue that breaks the immersion is a pain, and for that we have a few steps below we would like you to try: 

     

    1 - Remove the app

    • Find and then hover over the app that you want to remove.
    • Select the three dots.
    • Select Remove from library
    • Confirm

    2 -  Restart the Headset

    • If any changes caused this to start, undo these changes (Refresh Rate, Hand Tracking, Experimental Settings, etc.)
    • Log out and back into the phone app

      I’ve already tried restarting the headset several times and no success. As for removing the app, the videos are on my gallery. I’ve preemptively looked on the store for Gallery app, but found nothing. If I delete it, would I be able to get my gallery back, along with the videos and photos it contains?

        Thanks for getting back to us. If restarting the headset hasn't resolved your issue, we'd recommend taking a look at the app permissions for your Gallery app. You can find a guide for how to access app permissions here.
