I want to find my Meta account.

Hello, I am a MetaQuest user from Korea.

I bought it in 2020 and used it well, but around 2022-2023, when it switched to Meta Horizon, the account integration got messed up.

I was unable to check my email because the email domain of my existing account had disappeared, and as you all know, Meta's login system was very complex.

 

It would be easier to just create a new account, but I have purchased a lot of games on my previous account, and although I have tried various things to recover it, there is absolutely no way to do it.

 

But when I actually tried creating a new account,

it won't even pair, perhaps because Meta is already linked to my existing account.

It has already been over four years since this device just became useless.

I try to fix it every now and then when I remember, but there really is no way to do it.

 

I tried to contact them via email but couldn't find them.

This site is too complicated and useless.

It seems like a site that is not user-friendly at all.

 

 

What should I do?

    There was a deadline.... Oculus account that wasn't migrated to a Meta account by March 29th 2024 has been deleted.  People got emails with  recovery codes for their games, but since you don't have access to that mails anymore, your games are lost...... sorry about that!🙁

     You must factory reset the Quest in order to set it up with a new account.

    How to factory reset your Meta Quest

    I tried to contact them via email but couldn't find them.

      I sent an email via the link you provided.

       

      I managed to verify the names and purchase dates of several games with great difficulty, and after changing my unusable email address, I was finally able to retrieve my games after four years.

       

      I wish you success in all your future endeavors and hope your family stays healthy.

      but I followed the provided link, and when I entered the Quest 2 serial number as instructed, it said "This device is not supported."

       

      I didn't buy it from a meta site, but from a Korean online shopping mall.

        Make sure you are using the serial number on the box, not the one on the headset.. Headset and controllers have different serial numbers, so the one on the box is the identifier. Good luck! 🤞🤞🤞
