Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try out to see if they help!
- It is recommended that you use the official power adapter included in the box to charge the headset. The performance of third-party adapters cannot be guaranteed, even if they appear to be like the official adapter.
- If the headset feels warm to the touch. If so, we advise you to disconnect the charging cable and allow the headset to cool before trying to charge the headset again.
- Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect battery charging or consume power (such as external battery packs, external fans, etc.)
- We know that you have charged the headset for 24 hours. We still suggest that you attempt to charge the headset again for 2 hours. When used, Quest 3 will consume power faster than it can charge. The headset must be left powered off or in a sleep state during charging.
- Computer USB ports will not provide sufficient power to charge the Quest 3, resulting in a very slow charge or failure to charge at all. The headset must be connected to a wall outlet using the provided power adapter - If you have another Quest 3 power adapter (such as from a second headset), please try the other power adapter.
- If you are using a facial interface accessory. If so, please attempt to charge the headset again without the facial interface accessory. Some facial interfaces may block the proximity sensor which can impact the power of the headset.
