So...I picked my controllers out of the chargers today... Booted up my Quest 2.
And...now it'll say "Starting update" on both controllers...never give anymore feedback, still register the menu button, not track my hands, no matter what...
I've tried, rebooting the headset, factory resetting it, and the controllers.
Nothing's worked... It's been half a day, and it's still "Starting Update..."
Was there an update that bricked controllers?
It started working after enabling the PTC.
I saw an update in the headset.
I ran the update, picked up my controllers from the charger and BOOM, update started!
Where is this update?
Nothing but problems since my update, i would avoid if possible. Issues.... 1. No tracking every start up, united i reboot headset 3 times and re pair controllers 2. Overheat warning on controller every 15 mins, then loose tracking again. (my vibration settings are set to very low, and i do not have any grips on my controllers and they never got this warning before the update. I am afraid to ever update any meta software again. I usually don't but kept getting the notice to connect and update. Now i get stuck in meta world on boot and cant exit until i get my controllers working. Even with the headset tap option...
Hey meta, I could write and release poorly tested code!!!!. Where should I apply? I could work remote for this...
